The New ‘Central Grüezi’ – Welcoming Arriving Passengers
The project includes three bus docking points in a central location beneath the Airside Center to efficiently distribute arriving passengers in the future. Upon completion, the new Central Grüezi will significantly optimize transfer processes.
Optimized Passenger Flows for the Future
The Central Grüezi will serve as the main arrival point for Schengen bus arrivals, enabling seamless transfers from the passport control hall through the Security Checkpoint Building (SKG) into the Airside Center. The project ensures modern, efficient, and future-proof passenger handling at Zurich Airport. The location requires precise and forward-thinking planning, as well as close coordination of numerous interfaces with the existing infrastructure.
Dy Project’s Contribution
As the overall project lead, we represent the client’s interests and manage the project accordingly. We lead meetings, coordinate user requirements, prepare decision-making materials, and monitor costs, schedules, and quality. Additionally, we coordinate interfaces between existing and new structures and oversee the procurement of external services.
